Flying Silent: The Ultimate Serengeti Balloon Experience

Every morning at dawn over the Serengeti Plains, only a few fortunate people have their ultimate safari experience. As the sun rises over Maasai Kopjes, you will hear a blowing sound of a hot air balloon and here is where it all starts for you.
The view from a balloon over the Serengeti Plains is so fascinating. Sometimes you will fly so high that you can see for a hundred miles in every direction. The Wildebeest Migration is heading towards you and sometimes you will fly at treetop height, so you can almost touch a vultures nest in an acacia tree. You will see giraffe, waterbuck, buffalo, topi and other antelope from an entirely new perspective.
There is a daily take off is at 6 am from the Seronera area or Western Corridor, and it is depending from the morning wind in which direction the balloon will float.
After experiencing your ultimate safari for approximately 1 hour (depending on the wind) it is time to land and there is another unforgettable experience waiting for you. A nice glass of Champagne (or define sparkling wine) and a real Out of Africa Breakfast is being served.
Imagine yourself sitting at a table under the shades of an umbrella tree, with nice china and silver cutlery, fresh tropical fruits, warm freshly baked bread and English traditional breakfast. All served by stewards in traditionally Swahili dresses. And if you are in need you can also use the “loo with a view”.
At around 9.30 pm you will return to your lodge and on your way you might see a lion family resting near the road.
Maybe you will think it has all been a dream, but your personal Balloon Certificate will remain a memory of your Ultimate Safari Experience!
