My status

The idea for PlanYourSafari (PYS) started early 2008 at a big Travel Exhibition in the Netherlands. I have passion for the African Bush and wanted to create a website that focuses on ‘Safari’ related topics.

The PYS website was created for the African safari enthusiasts of this planet; no matter if you have been on safari before, or plan to do so in the (near) future.

I give you first hand information on a variety of safari topics. Apart from useful articles about safaris in general, I also want to give you a look ‘behind the scenes’: you will get first hand information and stories from guest bloggers that are professionally involved in the safari world.

facebook logo1 About us If you like to become a fan of PlanYourSafari on FaceBook, a click on the logo will get you to the right page!

Please fill in your email address on the homepage if you would like to receive automatic updates of the PYS-blog, or fill in the pop-up screen that after 1 minute appears on the site.
Contact us if you would like to see articles about a topic which we are not covering.

twitter7 About usMy real dream became true in 1994 when I took the bold step of leaving The Netherlands for a more exciting and adventurous life in Africa and my first year in Tanzania was unforgettable as everything was new and thrilling.
Over the years I managed to work myself up from lodge manager in Tanzania to being the owner and professional guide of my own mobile safari company (http://www.drumbeatsafaris.com) in Botswana. In 2004 I became an Honorary Wildlife Officer for the Botswana Department of Wildlife and National Parks. At the moment I live again in the Netherlands.
